Old town cedar canoe

The Old Town canoe with serial number 87719 is an 18 foot long, GS (Guide Special or utility) grade, Guide Special model with red western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, ash decks, ash thwarts, ash seats, and no keel. It was built between April and September, 1925. The original exterior paint color was slate. It was shipped on April 26th, 1926 to Vanceboro, Maine.
