Old Town 139004 is a 13 foot CS grade ("Common Sense") fifty pound model canoe, built between December of 1943 and March of 1944. It has open spruce gunwales and ash decks/seat frames/thwarts, and was fitted with a keel and outside stems and a floor rack. It was painted dark green and shipped to Gregory Boat Co in Detroit, Michigan on May 5, 1944.
A letter to Old Town dated 11-24-82, from Stanley Webster of Fenton, MI, is documented on the back of the record.
