I got a private forum message with a serial number request but that messaging system doesn't let you easily attach images so I decided to post the information here. The Old Town canoe with serial number 106438 is a 20 foot long, GS (Guide Special or utility) grade, Guide model with red western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, half ribs, and a keel. It was built between May and June, 1930. The original exterior paint color was G. S. (Guide's Special) green. It was shipped on June 25th, 1930 to Guilford, Maine.
