Old Town Canoe SN's: 133721 - 16 / 110987 - 17

Alright...I'm in.

I just picked up two Old Town WC Canoes. I was wondering if someone could help me with the history. The serial numbers are:

133721 - 16
110987 - 17

Both boats are in similar shape. They need a bit of work, which I'm actually looking forward to. (Yeah, it's my first time...) Neither have canvas, the stern stem on the 17 footer will have to be rebuilt and the gunwales replaced. On the 16 footer, some of the tops of the ribs in the middle have rotted away, but only about an inch or less. Going to be coming here for a lot of advice.

Thanks Al, I can't wait to start working on them. They both have remnants of the original canvas on them. (At least it matches the color description in the Build Reports you posted.) I'm a list/process type, so I'll be putting together a work schedule. (Minus any dates, there's no way I'll be able to keep up with my own expectations.) What a great resource we have here.
