Hi, wondering if anybody can give me any information about this canoe. There are no decals or labels other than “Old Town”. Thank you!

Welcome, the Old Town canoe with serial number 209427 is an 18 foot long Chipewyan model that weighed 80 pounds with aluminum inserts in the rails. It was built between August, 1975 and September, 1975. The original exterior color was red. It shipped on October 30th, 1975 to East Greenwich, Rhode Island. A scan showing this build record can be found below.
This scan and several hundred thousand more were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
