Hi I was wondering if you could help me with old town serial #174421 16.I just purchased the canoe from Laconia NH. Thanks for any help.

The Old Town canoe with serial number 174421 is a 16 foot long Otca model with narrow two and 3/4 inch planking and a keel. It was built between December, 1964 and February, 1965. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped on May 3rd, 1966 to Lakeport, New Hampshire. This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
