Wooden Canoes are in the Blood
I picked up an Old Town Otca. Oh "Great Keeper of the Numbers" maybe you could look it up for me. 165418 - 16. Should be a 16' AA grade with half ribs and floor rack.

The Old Town canoe with serial number 165418 is a 16 foot long, AA (or top) grade, Yankee model that shipped as an Otca. It had twenty inch decks, half ribs and a keel. It was built between August and September, 1956. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped on September 14th, 1956 to Coquille, Oregon. This scan and several hundred thousand more were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others as you probably know well. Thank you very much. That description fits exactly. This is a one family canoe that was purchased in Oregon and eventually came back with the family to the Hudson Valley. It is in very nice shape.
