A friend (WCHA member Alan Mapes) met this guy making his way down the Hudson. Sure, he's using a motor - but still is a pretty neat trip! Here is a link to his blog.

The title of the blog says Halifax, Nova Scotia to Iquitos, Peru!

I know - but he says his "immediate" goal is Brownsville, TX. Ambitious, eh?

Trip Goal

He was saying Brownsville for the immediate goal. If things go well, he's hoping to continue down to the Amazon and up to Peru! We'll see how he does in the open ocean around Sandy Hook.
