Some of the Norumbegas gathered on the Squannacook River in North-East-Central Massachusetts today. We are going through a spring drought here and the water was very low - a few feet lower than normal for this trip. The trip was a real struggle with lots of carries and lots of strainers. Glad we weren't racing (like the 50 other canoes/yaks on this normally very secluded stream)
.
We had an 18 ft. Old Town Guide, a member constructed 16 ft. Peterborough and a 16 ft Chestnut Prospector with us today.
