Northland Canoe nameplate?

I'm restoring a 1971 Northland fiberglass-on-wood canoe. Looking for a source to replace the nameplate. I understand the original builder, Albert Maw, is still around, but hard to reach unless you "stop by the cabin." Any other possible sources for this part? thanks!

Here is a safe suggestion for saving your decal. Scroll saw around the decal a safe distance: 1/8"-1/4". Then slice off the backing material to about 1/8" thick. Cove the back side. Now you have a nice builder medalian to apply to your new deck. You were planning to replace the deck weren't you?
