Northern Forest Canoe Trail

Just a note to say I took the kids out last night to see a slideshow lecture presented by Kate Williams of the Northern Forest Canoe Trail. It was a great photographic tour of the trail. I think this presentation is due to show up at Assembly this summer. Go and see it if you get the chance. My only gripe is there are too many plastic boats in the photos! A couple of Atkinson Travelers and a few other wood canvas canoes were featured.

The Northern Forest Canoe Trail is having a four state Official Opening Celebration on the 3rd of June. Day-long events are planned at Saranac Lake NY, Newport VT, Groveton NH and Greenville ME. You can get more information on their website at: http://northernforestcanoetrail.org/
