Hello Everyone. My name is Thobias, future aka, Thobs the Canoe Guy.

I was mostly looking for a sailing boat and somehow I ended up in Sailing Canoes and I just love everything about it. Especially how DIY friendly it is. I decided to become a Canoe guy to help raise funds for Charity. It's only a project today but with lots of faith a reality tomorrow.

Welcome Thobias, you've come to the right place. The most knowledgeable people you'll ever find are here and love to share about sailing canoes and everything connected with it.
I myself, am currently reading "Canoe Rig The Essence and The Art" by Todd Bradshaw. I'm in the process of restoring/converting my Dad's old canoe into a sailing canoe in his memory. If you haven't already read this book I'd suggest it's a great place to start.
