Hi everyone.
Letting the membership know of a new, multi-day paddling event called the OSCR (Ontario Solo Canoe Rendezvous). It'll be taking place in Peterborough, Ontario over June 19th-21st. The Northern Lakes Chapter will be having a presence and using the event as a sort of Mini-Assembly. We'll be planning an outdoor canvassing party of our Chapter's 14ft Huron project canoe as well as hosting some evening presentations.
Attendance requires registration through the host organization and is now available at the following link:

Registering allows you to access discounted rates for area hotels, reduced group rates for tours of the nearby Canadian Canoe Museum, as well as discounted camping rates (tent only) for Beavermead Campground right in Peterborough. You can also sign up for a planned group paddle to the historic Lift Locks.
