Hey there, happy to be here and learn a few tricks about wooden canoes.
I just picked up an 18.5' Grand Laker stripper canoe last weekend and am in the process of refinishing the whole boat. According to the former owner, it was made in VT but have not documentation. Perhaps someone here can recognize it.
I also picked up a 1923 Old Town 16' Square stern canoe with sponsons a few years ago. This belonged to a kids camp up near the Belgrade Lakes in Maine and was covered with glass and epoxy in the early 70's. I am in the process of peeing it off with a heat gun.

I see you are right down the road. Writing this now from Portsmouth but live in Farmington. A few members around locally. No clue on the stripper but ask away. We are here to help.
