Enthusiastic about Wooden Canoes
A couple of years ago, a local lady was getting rid of two sets of bed stands. The wood looked nice so I took them, not sure what I'd do with them.
Well, the first I turned into a hall bench. The next idea came to me as I was dodging the bed stands for the thousandth time, wishing they weren't there.
Instead of a bed stand, I figured why not use them as a canoe stand? The pictures tell the story better than my words. I plan to try straps from post to post at some time. The nice thing about this getup is that it's VERY sturdy. I can easily slide a canoe around with out worry.
