Holiday Greetings, paddle people!

You may recall from our last email, which listed out events we’re planning for 2026, that the October Mini Assemhly hosted by the Delaware Valley group was looking for a new location due to the closure of Gifford Pinchot State Park for construction. They’ve decided to move the event to Black Moshannon State Park in Philipsburg, PA. That’s on our side of State College … so a little more accessible than Gifford. If you’re planning on booking a cabin, the sooner the better. The event will be held October 10-12. See you there!

Speaking of meetings, our next one is February 12. It’s going to be a Zoom. Brad (I) will be delivering a presentation on the history of human-powered craft on Chautauqua Lake. Watch your email for timing and a link.

In the meantime, Happy Holidays everyone!

Brad
