I've paddled on some cold days when ice formed on the paddle, but never at 1 degree. You Michiganders are tough! Is that one of the canoes that Verlen Kruger built? Tom McCloud

Yes Tom, The Au Sable River Center in Roscommon has a wonderful display of Verlen Kruger's canoe's, records and trophy's.
