Loves to paddle
We had a small crowd this weekend at the Michigan Chapter’s Spring Paddle on the Au Sable in Grayling, but it was a good time. Three canoes, for a total of six people on the water. We paddled from Mio to McKinley—a stretch of the Au Sable that I had never done before. It was lovely! Swift water but deep and almost no hazards whatsoever. The water was wide enough for us all to paddle alongside each other if we wanted. The weather was beautiful—sunny but not too warm and No Bugs!
