Mead Glider sailing canvas kayak

I picked up a very old Mead Glider canvas sailing kayak from Craigslist,I was wondering if anybody owns one of these things? I need the dims from the pontoons,I am missing both.Thanks for any help

Hi Mike,

You need to contact Ralph Frese at the Chicagoland Canoe Base. He has owned one or worked on them since the 30's and will know very thing you need. You can find him in the builder section of the site.

He has a few hanging in his workshop. It was the first boat he had as a boy.

I allready did,He has a set of plans but it is the same set that I have and there are no dimensions on them.I really wanted to make them exactly like they were when new.
