Mahogany Gunwales

I'm working on restoring an old Shell Lake canoe. The outwales and inwales are mahogany and need to be replaced. Does anyone know where I can get mahogany ones in WI or MN? Most suppliers just have ash.

Wonderful! I'll be in further contact with you when I'm ready for them. I'm guessing it's not real practical to ship them. And now a stupid question: I have a truck and could probably come and get them, but what's the best way to haul them? A trailer seems overkill for such thin pieces of wood. But the bed of a truck is too short. And what do you charge for them?

The best way I found is to tie a canoe to the vehicle, then tie the rail stock to the canoe...
