The Old Town canoe with serial number 22201 is an 16 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, Charles River model with closed spruce gunwales, ash decks, ash thwarts, ash seats, spruce finish rails, and a keel. It was built between April and May, 1912. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It was shipped on June 3rd, 1912 to Eaton Rapids, Michigan.
The Old Town canoe with serial number 32778 is an 16 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, HW (heavy water) model with closed spruce gunwales, birch decks, birch thwarts, birch seats, and a keel. It was built between June and July, 1914. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It was shipped on July 21st, 1914 to Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
