Looking for build sheet

I’m getting ready to restore a what we believe is a 1942 sixteen foot Old Town Canoe. The serial number is 185978 I7. I am in need of the build sheet so I can start the process of restoring this old girl.

Welcome, the Old Town build record for serial number 185978 shows a 13 foot long fiberglass kayak so that isn't a good match. My guess is that you may actually have serial number 135978. The link below has more information about that canoe. Let me know if that doesn't answer your question.
