My Dad owns a restored circa 1910-1920 Thompson canvas canoe. He's entered into a few wooden boat shows, done quite well, but received feedback that he is missing at least 1 (and maybe 2?) period-appropriate paddles. I would like to find it for him, and give it to him for his upcoming 82nd birthday. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I see a lot of Thompson canoes and boats here in northern Wisconsin. I know that Thompson sold paddles, oars and other accessories, but I have never seen any "authentic" Thompson paddles. I seem to recall from the catalogs that they we're spruce or ash beaver tail paddles. eBay would be a place to find vintage paddles. Shaw and Tenney if you want to buy new ones...
