The Old Town canoe with serial number 155826 is a 16 foot long, CS (Common Sense or middle) grade, HW (heavy water) model with red western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, a keel, and sponsons. It was built between April and July, 1951. The original exterior paint color was fire red. It shipped on July 25th, 1951 to Blackwood, New Jersey.
The Old Town canoe with serial number 95412 is a 16 foot long, AA (or top) grade, Otca model with red western cedar planking, a keel and a floor rack. It was built between September, 1927 and March, 1928. The original exterior paint color was blue with a gold stripe. The back side of the card shows that it was returned on November 8th, 1928 because the paint had cracked and peeled. It was refinished with dark blue paint and a half inch gold stripe with turned down ends. It shipped again on March 16th, 1929 to Newark, New Jersey.
