Langford Canoe, looking for info...

Our scout troop acquired a Langford Canoe, and we are looking for any info/history on it. It's a 16 ft, serial # stamped on rib is "ZLD 16 2030179". Thanks for any help!!

This would appear to be an H.I.N. (hull identification number)it probably means a 16',ser,#203,built Jan. 1979

I talked to the gentleman who restored it, he seems to remember it being built in the 40's or 50's.
