Who hid my paddle?
I'd like to give recognition to a great guy who advances the spirit of WCHA; Gil Cramer, who drove from his home in Ohio all the way to the boy scout ranch in Metamora to expertly canvas and fill one of their huge war canoes. And to Skip Gibson, long time member who coordinated the effort and cajoled me into showing up too. Gil had the canoe covered and filled in about 2 1/2 hours. Skip did the repair work on the beast.
