Kennebec Canoe serial # info

Welcome, the Kennebec canoe with serial number 22168 is shown on pages 90 and 91 of volume four in the Kennebec ledgers. This was assigned to an 12 foot long Kennebec Junior model. It was planked by Morgan on February 22nd, 1930. Grant applied the canvas covering and put on the first filler coat on the same day. Mansell applied the second filler coat on March 8th, 1930. It was railed by Bunker on March 9th, 1930. The "F 22" (Function number 22 or the keel was completed by Thib. on the same day. The original color was black. It shipped to location "30-701" on July 9th, 1930. This location is probably an order number but we don't currently have enough information to identify it.
