Hello,

I have a 17 ft Kennebec canoe that had sponsons when I found it submerged in a pond in Jaffrey, NH in 1972. With help from friends I recanvassed it, replaced some planks and ribs and enjoyed it. After being out in the weather too long (my fault) it needs recanvassing again.

The serial number on the oval plate is 9476, can anyone tell me when it was made?
