The Kennebec canoe with serial number 10314 is a 17 foot long Kennebec model type a with sponsons as shown on pages 444 and 445 of volume two in the Kennebec ledgers. It was planked by Mansell on December 21st, 1915. The canvas covering was applied by Roy on the same day. Lanc added the first filler coat on the same day and the second one on June 28th, 1916. Whitaker added the sponsons on February 21st, 1916. Harris added the rails on the July 9th, 1916. The original gray exterior painting was completed by Mansell on September 8th, 1916. The rest of the line is blank so it is not clear when and where it was originally shipped.

It is also possible that you could have another number or manufacturer if this description doesn't match the canoe. Feel free to reply here if you have any other questions.
