I have a custom bamboo rod that is a real rocket. It is a 4 wt. and cuts right through the wind in the canyon at Sand Creek in Wyoming and if that wind doesn't flatten you, I don't know what will. It is due to the compound taper construction. Do you build rods with that kind of geometrics? Splinter
