Info on Sprague

I was reading recently and there was mention of a Sprague canoe. It said that the canoe came out of Maine. No other information given. Anyone know about it/them/him?

According to the list of Canoe Builders in Maine http://www.wcha.org/history/maine-list.htm, there have been three Spragues building canoes in the town of Grand Lake Stream in Washington County-- Joe Sprague 1912-1938, William Sprague 1927-1966, and Sonny Sprague 1960s to present.
