The Old Town canoe with serial number 15116 is an 17 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, Otca model with red western cedar planking, open spruce gunwales, ash decks, ash thwarts, ash seats, a keel, and a middle thwart. It was built between October, 1910 and April, 1911. The original exterior paint color was white. It shipped on April 26th, 1911 to Philadelphia, Penna. The back side of the record shows that it may have moved to Michigan by 1986.
