Info on Old Town 13

Looking for information on serial #177274 - 13. Purchased in 2017. Trying to build provenance as part of restoration. Thank you.

The build record for the Old Town canoe with serial number 177174 shows a 17 foot long Otca model that shipped to Milwaukee, Wisconsin on July 6th, 1967 so this isn't a good match for a 13 foot long canoe. The information at https://www.wcha.org/forums/index.php?threads/791/ may help if some of the digits are hard to read. Can you post some pictures of the serial numbers from each end and confirm the length (or indicate which digit is the least clear)? Thanks,

This looks better. The Old Town canoe with serial number 177274 is a 13 foot long Lightweight model. It was built between December, 1966 and January, 1967. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped to Grand Rapids, Michigan on April 14th, 1967. A scan showing this build record can be found below.

This scan and several hundred thousand more were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others.
