Identification of Canoe

Looking for help in identifying this canoe, it was found in an old barn in Northern Maine. Looking quickly I did not see a tag or HIN

My guess would be home made or from one of the hundreds of smaller Maine builders listed at https://wcha.org/catalogs/maine-list.htm for example. Very few of these can be identified without a tag. Please post the results here if you find a serial number on the inside stem or figure out who built it.

Looks Canadian-built to me (stem profile, inwale joinery).

I agree with Dan and the stem profile. Appears fiberglassed?
