Identification help

I just picked up this canoe for cheap as a quarantine project and would love some help identifying it. Previous owner didn’t know much about it other than it was his late father’s. Paint on the canvas is chipped in a few places, but ribs and planking all look good. No clear rot anywhere. Cleary missing a thwart or two though.
Not really concerned about resale. I’ve just always wanted one and they’re tough to come by in AZ.
I’m thinking it’s a Chestnut based on deck shape. It’s 16’ long, 32” wide. Serial number stamped on the stem is 1426 3048. Any help would be much appreciated.

After a lot of searching, it appears I may have myself a Peterborough Floatwell. Although I’m not finding a bunch of information about them, I’m happy to find a bit more info on it.

apologies on the garage pics. It’s 192 degrees in AZ right now.

Yep. Looks like those were for sponsons that were attached below the outwales. Not finding much about production years. Seems as though records weren’t kept overly well, so I may be out of luck nailing down its age, but it’s a good looking canoe and I’m excited to start the restoration.
