I need help in Identifying this canoe

First time post. I have a friend who is interested in this canoe, and we were wondering who or what company may have built it. He does not have any info on a serial number or other identifying info. Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like it was made by Canots Nor-West: http://www.nor-west.ca/html/home_en.htm - who are still in business.

Dan is correct....the sideview has a shot of the moosehead decal used by Nor-West....one of their Freighters....
