Carry Thwarts
Hi Kathryn:
I just got around to looking at this canoe. Yes, this OTCA with sponsons does have carry thwarts. They always looked a bit crude to me, so I originally suspected they were added by an owner, but looking at them again they probably were installed by OTC. They are fastened with diamond head carriage bolts.
