I bought a white canoe made in old town maine before it was bought out buy old town canoe co. the serial # is whc64435m84l. I beleive it is 16' I want to know what type of canoe it is?

There aren't any records for the White company. The numbers/letters you've provided seem like a boat registration number, so you might find something out by contacting whatever entity in your state registers boats. The pattern simply doesn't look like a serial number pattern to me.

If you post some pictures of your canoe (we love pictures!), someone might be able to tell you something.

It's a Hull ID Number, from WHITE HEART CANOE & KAYAK CO 23333 NORTH POE VALLEY ROAD KLAMATH FALLS OR

My google search comes up empty.

At least, that's what the Coast Guard site says.
