We had a great mini-Assembly with sunny, dry, cool autumn weather. By coincidence, there was Gordon Smith's restored Waltham, and Mike Black's unrestored, so the features of the two could be examined. Both have serial numbers stamped into the stem. Construction is near identical, closed gunwale. And Gordon's has an original brass tag, 2.5" long - and Mike's has two tack holes 2.25" apart, so this clinches his ID as another Waltham.
