Gerrish work…

Michigan Canoe Nut
I’m getting there. Got a couple of varnish coats built up and the seats and thwarts made, somebody tossed them years ago. Anyhow, lots of black varnish removal and stripped and then sanded every single square inch inside with a die making sander. Not one plank or rib replaced either. 3 stressed fractures and backside rib repairs. Inwales were broken I figure from dropping it but this one wasn’t used hardly at all I’m guessing.

Chris.. what can you tell us about Brightwork varnish? The very limited information about it's contents spells out plastic resins as an additive. There is no mention of tung oil or other traditional content.
