Great news - Mike Elliott of Kettle River Canoes in British Columbia has completely restored a 1929 Peterborough Floatwell canoe, and will be bringing this beauty all the way across the continent to Paul Smith's College for auction to benefit the WCHA! According to Mike, this canoe was a family heirloom for 90 years. Now this great canoe can be yours! Come to Assembly for this and many other great auction and raffle items, a fabulous and frenzied tool sale, plus of course great fun, paddling, and education with hundreds of your best friends from across North America and around the world.

Note that Mike Elliott will also be a featured speaker on Wednesday night, July 17. He will be speaking about his restoration processes as he introduces his new book, hot off the press, titled "This Old Fancy Canoe: A Comprehensive Guide to Restoring Antique Canoes". You can get your brand new copy of his book at Assembly, and stroll through the action items to consider this wonderful canoe, other auction canoes, and more that will go to the highest bidders on Saturday, July 20th.
