This past fall, the Discovery Channel sent a film crew out to the Midwest FreeStyle Canoe Symposium, to get footage for a new series they were planning. We received word today that the FreeStyle Canoeing segment is scheduled to be aired on Wreckreation Nation Tuesday Feb. 17 (that’s tomorrow) at 9 p.m. central time. My guess is it'll be about a 10-minute segment at the end of the program. Many of the boats at this Symposium are Tom Mackenzie's creations.
Way cool! This will be the first national television broadcast of FreeStyle Canoeing, and W/C canoes will get national coverage!
