Did Rushton make Lap Strake canoes?

This canoe is for sale at a local consignment shop. Dave Wermuth said the seats look to be Rushton.
Anymore info would be nice.

Yes, Rushton made a wide variety of lapstrake boats, but this isn't one of them. Looks like a glued lap boat (MUCH more recent that Rushton's time). Note there are no mechanical fasteners holding the planks together. Lots of other differences. All point to recent build, probably at home. Seats look like they came from another boat- see the holes, one in center of each end? That's where they were probably once screwed into a different boat.
