Decal used on Old Town Ideal 'Long Deck'

I'm close to completing work on a 1921 Old Town Ideal 'Long Deck'. Were decals used on these models? There's not enough room for a normal sized decal on the deck itself. Would a smaller decal, perhaps like the one shown below, have been used on the coaming? Anybody have pictures of the decal that was used?

A regular nameplate would be on the bow combing. The one below is a 1923 Otca with 30 inch decks and serial number 73894. The link below has the build record.
