I'm trying to get any information at all on the maker of my birch bark (c.1994) model canoe. The maker's name is David Gidmark.

Thanks for the reply. Many years ago I corresponded with David Gidmark about purchasing a canoe. He sent back information and sent a card with a picture of one of his canoes with his wife "Ernestine" (I believe) in it. For several years he would follow up with the same card. I believe he lived somewhere in the Canadian wilderness?
