The photos are lousy (to be kind), but it looks like a Thompson.

That was my thought, that planking looks too nice to be a Shell Lake, at least if my old SL is any indication. And the solid seat spacers look T also.

Good Luck with the auction! We have a canoe in similar condition... well, no gunwales, but no duct tape either. Bought unseen, we were told it was a Shell Lake but have come to the conclusion it's probably a Thompson.
