Couple of Questions

Can anyone post drawings or photos of the joinery of the deck, inwales, and stem, on an Old Town.
1941 18' Otca if that makes any difference.
If the decks , thwarts, and seats, are oak. red or white oak?
I am looking for a set of sponsons for this boat. If I cant find any could someone get me profile drawings of the stations so I can make new ones.

I have an 18 foot long one from 1936 with sponsons as shown at http://forums.wcha.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=10026&d=1268689103 if you need more details. White oak is generally recommended over red oak for use in canoes. Good luck,
