Clear finish over Top Lac Plus?

I am finishing a re-canvas job and have painted the hull in three colours. I am thinking of putting a clear coat on as added protection. Any advice or suggestions as to type of product I might use over Interlux Top Lac Plus?

I'd recommend a coat of quality marine wax and call it a day
