LOVES Wooden Canoes
Nine antique & classic boats will be displayed at the Minneapolis, MN Boat Show 17-21 January. The display focuses upon Minnesota Made Boats and 8 of the 9 are just that.
Boats range from a 1929 Dingle 30 ft. triple cockpit runabout to a 1940s Vivant cedar strip fishing boat to a 1958 Seliga wood/canvas canoe. Inlcuded will be a fiberglass Herters Flying Fish with outrageous tailfins and an aluminum Crestliner Jetstreak. A few Minnesota built outboard motors will also be shown (Hiawatha, Champion, Scott-Attwater).
