Anybody know anything about this canoe...is this an authentic Chestnut Prospector and when it was built...or anything else.

No records are known to exist that connect a Chestnut serial number to build information. Try www.dragonflycanoe.com/id/ and scroll to "Chestnut" on the left for information that may be helpful.
